I had my 2024 Chevrolet Tahoe up to have it's second service appointment and it went as agreed upon. The only concern that I had was that the owner who we have purchased numerous pickups from, walked right past us numerous times while we sat in the waiting room and did not even say hello. I am used to no one recognizing me but my husband is very identifiable, and I know that Brett recognized him. A quick hello would have been appreciated.

I purchased new keys for my Colorado. At the parts desk they did not know that the keys needed to be programmed. It was only after I purchased the keys and tried to use them that I discovered there was a potential severe problem. That problem was if I attempted to use this key more than three times it would lock up the car permanently. The service guys explain what needed to be done and did a good job and getting me in in a timely manner. The service guys did a very good job but the parts guys have a lot to learn.

Quick and professional service. Unfortunately, I didn't look at the invoice until I got home and seen that they rotated the tires. That's great, except I just had them rotated at Les Shwab less than 400 miles ago. Scott Lies said it was part of the service, and next time in the area stop in and they will rotate tires back to where they were.

Had my oil changed no issues

I scheduled my appointment, the service work was completed 2 hours later than I was told. I had to go to the service department to ask when my vehicle would be ready. When I got in my truck, the seat was covered in dirt, there was dirty hand prints on the left side of my dash. I stopped to get fuel and there were oily and greasy hand prints on the rear door and side of the box. I was not happy! I only have 1980 miles on my truck and it has never been driven in the rain or has only been through a touch less car was. Last year when I purchased my truck I left it at the dealership for 4 weeks while I was at work in Alaska. I had the dealership install a tonneau cover. When I got home from work and picked the truck up there were scratches on the passenger side of the box, then someone tried to buff them out with a buffer. I had not even driven my truck yet and it had already been scratched. My buying experience was great but the service department sucks. I will never take my truck back for service at this dealership!

I am happy with the work that was done. Not impressed with the labor and no explanation of it. With the work that was done I expected more of it to be parts. I feel labor should be broken down as to what was done and the hourly charge for it as well.

Richard, service manager, kept us informed of repair issues and progress. He informed us of problems and delays. Taylor & Sons graciously provided a free loaner vehicle.

Staff were helpful, friendly, and courteous. Dealership clean and neat. All was great. The only thing missing was a Lazyboy recliner so I could sleep more comfortably as I waited for service to be completed! Best dealership in Northern Idaho!

I found it odd that the dealership offers online appointment scheduling but once it's scheduled it isn't recognized in their system. They were still able to see me and got me in right away which was nice, and let me know to call in the future. I didn't appreciate that when I went in for a tire rotation it wasn't actually done and I had to explain that I marked one of wheels and knew it hadn't been done. They ended up getting me taken care of, but it did make me question how future services would be handled

Great folks! Friendly and courteous. They did fall short when they said they would put 2-1/2 gallons of DEF in and it was the same level when I picked up the truck. I didn’t beef about it as I didn’t want to wait or make anyone upset.

I brought my tahoe in for two recalls. The big one and most important one was the 6.2 engine recall. The dealer handled it all smoothly and within the time they told me.

We had a wonderful experience with Taylor & Sons Chevrolet when purchasing our 2025 Silverado 3500. Our first impression was meeting one of the owners, Brett Taylor, when we had arrived 30 minutes before the dealership would open so we could look around without being noticed. We were impressed that an owner was one of the first people to show up for work. He made sure we didn't have any questions and knew his sales team would be helping us soon. Our sales consultant was Martina Brass who answered every question we had or promptly found the answer and got back to us. Then she came in on her day off to help us complete the deal. Eric Whitman, sales manager, was also instrumental in making our deal work. When we took delivery of the new truck the guys in the shop were very helpful with some minor details. They seemed as excited as us about our new truck. All in all, that is a great team at Taylor & Sons Chevrolet in Ponderay, Idaho.

I appreciate you guys getting me in timely and getting my issue resolved same day. However, the service department should work on customer service. They just kind of made me feel backed in a corner. “Here’s the problem, here’s the price, I can do it right now.” That’s it. It was not a cheap fix by any means. I get that there was a problem and it costs money to fix. But $300 just for the labor on a $50 part? Ouchie. A little compassion goes a long way.

The service was done on time along with a repair to the DEF system.

I called the evening before to see if they were able to get me in for a simple fix. They were able to get me in, told me it would be about an hour to change out the headlights. They were finished in about 45 minutes. They are a wonderful team to work with from service to bill pay.

Late in the day, I asked the service advisors when they could schedule an oil change service on my '22 Silverado and, to my delight they said "Now'. My Silverado was completed in an hour, and was returned spotless. You can't beat that!

Driver side window down and cold outside.Service got it fixed for me in 3 hours.

The service advisor did a good job working with us, however, we did find a major deficit in the quality control of the service where we had a battery terminal not tightened properly, which caused problems with the vehicle after service and we were not happy with the subsequent handling of the issue afterwards.
